HizKidz History
HizKidz is a registered Scottish charity and was started in 2000 by an incredible guy called Allan Marshall. Allan was at the time running a Crusaders group (now called Urban Saints) in Prestwick but felt he could reach more kids if he started his own kid’s club. He was right, and thanks to all Allan’s hard work HizKidz clubs were started in Prestwick, Ayr, Irvine, Kilmarnock, Mauchline, and Netherthird.
Hizkidz also took school assemblies throughout Ayrshire. Unfortunately, due to a lack of volunteers, as of August 2011 there are only 2 HizKidz Clubs still running, one in Ayr, and the other Netherthird.
One of the main aims of HizKidz is to help prepare kids for responsible Christian living in today’s world. We do this through Bible based children’s clubs which provide fun activities, songs, Bible stories, games, outings and holidays.
